The AWS Class E410NiMo-16 electrode is a martensitic stainless steel electrode primarily made up of Chromium (Cr), Nickel (Ni), and Molybdenum (Mo). Its typical composition features around 12% Cr, 4.5% Ni, and 0.5% Mo, which boosts its corrosion resistance and strength. This electrode boasts impressive tensile strength (up to 700 MPa), yield strength of about 500 MPa, and good impact toughness. Thanks to its low hydrogen content, the risk of weld cracking is minimized, while its well-balanced alloying elements ensure reliable mechanical performance even in high-stress and corrosive environments.
